About us

Open Door Policy

We have an "open door” policy at The Bright Days Preschool. Parents may visit their children in our facilities any time they wish. We do ask parents who plan to visit their children frequently to follow the classroom routine, to avoid disturbing classroom schedules and activities. If you wish to meet with the Director or a staff member, please make an appointment so that arrangements can be made. The Bright Days Preschool appreciates parents’ valuable input on the care of their children, and encourages parent participation. Parents can visit as much or as little as their schedules (and children) will allow.

Government Programs

VPK

The Bright Days Preschool is a Certified VPK Provider. Voluntary Prekindergarten or VPK gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. Children who participate in high-quality early childhood education programs develop better language skills, score higher in school-readiness tests and have better social skills and fewer behavioral problems once they enter school. If you have a child who turns 4 years of age by September 1, your child is eligible for Florida’s FREE VPK program.

School Readiness

The Bright Days Preschool participates in the State of Florida’s School Readiness Program. The School Readiness program offers qualified parents financial assistance for child care through a variety of services. The school readiness program provides a developmental screening for children and referrals to specific health and educational specialists. The goal of School Readiness is to provide safe, healthy, and readiness enriched environments that support children and their families so they will enter kindergarten ready to learn.
